Reading: Breaking Boundaries, Connecting with the World
阅读：打破边界 与世界对话
We go beyond simply encouraging students to gain knowledge from books. We inspire them to engage with ideas across time and cultures through reading. This summer, our students explored a wide range of books - from the depth of literary classics and the creativity of sci-fi, to the richness of history and the wonders of biology, in languages including Chinese, English, and more.This reflects our core belief: Reading has no borders, and learning knows no boundaries.
我们不局限于让学生从书中获取知识，更鼓励他们通过阅读，与不同时代、不同文化的思想碰撞。这个暑期，同学们选的书籍涵盖面非常广：有文学经典的深刻，有科幻作品的奇思，有历史书籍的厚重，有生物读物的奇妙，还包含了中文、英文及其他语种的作品。这正践行了我们一直倡导的理念—— 阅读无国界，学习无边界。
Expression: Digesting Insights, Making Reading Meaningful
表达：消化感悟 让阅读“落地”
Finishing a book is not the end - true understanding comes when thoughts are turned into expression. Older students wrote reflections and reviews, some even extending or adapting stories, showcasing sharp thinking and articulate voices. Younger students used colours and lines to illustrate fairy tales and scientific concepts, each drawing a heartfelt dialogue with the books they read.
读完书并非终点，把感悟转化为自己的表达，才是真正的吸收。高年级学生写下读后感、书评，有的还顺着书中故事续写或改编，展现出清晰的思辨能力和流畅的表达能力；低年级学生则用色彩和线条，将书中的童话场景、科学奥秘画出来，每一幅画都是他们与书籍的心灵交流。
Perspective: Local Roots, Global Vision
视野：扎根本土 看见多元世界
Our story will continue. The connection with current life allows lower grade students to have firsthand experience, while higher grade students develop a profound understanding and a happy experience. Only then can they have the motivation to learn and create. Our students will continue to progress along their education journey.
未来，我们的故事还将继续。与当下生活的关联，让低年级学生有切身感受，高年级学生有深刻理解，同时拥有快乐的体验，才有学习和创作的动力，才会激发活力和创造。学子们的“笔墨修行”，一直在路上！
